At the Rock n Roll Marathon finish line with former NFL Star Donte Stallworth |
Before arriving in Amman, I spent 10 months in DC studying Arabic at The Foreign Service Language Institute in Rosslyn, VA. Long term language study is such a privilege-- not just because I get a chance to become proficient in another language (studied both Spanish and Portuguese at FSI), but I get a chance to reconnect with friends, family, colleagues and Country.
A few highlights from my time in DC:
Volunteering with PAL (People Animals Love) at The Armed Services Retirement Home |
The Best PAL Emotional Support Dog Ever Makes a New Friend |
Wanderlust Festival With My Favorite Yogis |

Hiking and Picnic in Rock Creek Park |
Goodies from Glen's Garden Market in Dupont Circle |
Showtime at The Kennedy Center with my Former CBS4 Colleague |
Game of Thrones Pop Up Bar |
